M52 8113 How do I deactivate the security chip

2008-10-03, 15:58 PM
Hello, I was working with an outside vendor getting software downloaded to my PC. Had some issues with the software, contacted the Tech support. They instructed me to do "msconfig" and to boot up in safe mode. Now I can't get passed the "checking the status of the security chip" It's been about 2 hours now. The Tech informed me that because my system was built for corporate use that we need to figure out how to get by the security chip so we can change the setting back from the safe mode to normal mode.
