The system concerned is a ThinkCentre M52 (8113-D6G) plus a PCI-Express (x1) DVB tuner card Pinnacle PCTV 7010ix.
Problem: System doesn't boot, hangs on initial screen, you can't even get into BIOS settings when this tuner card is inserted into the x1 slot. This condition is independent of the x16 slot being occupied by the graphics card or not. However, the tuner card is fine if installed in the x16 slot (graphics card removed, of course).
The tuner card itself seems OK and works nicely in a x1 slot of a different system (AMD-based A60). So why can't I get it working in the x1 slot of the M52 System?
