Hi everyone,
does AHCI driver for WinXP exists for my M57 (6069-CTO) ? I tried to search new lenovo website, but found only RNR AHCI patch
At the moment my desktop runs in Compatibility mode, but when I switch to AHCI, getting BSOD .
Any hint ?
Many thanks
Tomi.

If it has a Intel chipset, you can get
a driver direct from Intel support.
Just know which chipset you have.
(Intel also has a chipset ID utility.)
I think you install Intel AHCI driver in Windows,
reboot, and change the bios setting.
But will it work??

hi Duck3
many thanks for your answer.
Yeah, did load Intel chipset drivers (downloaded from Lenovo support website), I did not realize this is part of it...
As you said, it doesn't work after reboot...
I tried the same with Vista, this works great, but Vista...no comments about it...don't like it.
Thanks for your efforts.
