have succeeded all the setup! thanks for your tips!

here's what i installed

- GTX 1050 ti low profile graphics card (which requires 75w pcie and 300w psu)

- flex-ATX psu (400W Gold FSP) <- it fits the case!!!

- 24pin to 10 pin adapter (moddiy.com sells this!)

pretty satisfied with the setup :)

Can you confirm that FSP is the manufacturer of the 'Flex-ATX' size power supply, the model number would be very helpful.  And the model number of the 1050 Ti.  Thx.

hi - i have used FSP's psu - Amazon sells a variety of those; mine is 400W gold ($90)

(indeed the original psu was also made by FSP)

https://www.amazon.com/FSP-Solution-efficiency-Supply-FSP400-60FGGBA/dp/B014G2OUG2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1505807705&sr=8-3&keywords=flex+atx

I personally bought Gigabyte's but i guess ZOTAC or MSI would work the same.

https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-Profile-Graphic-GV-N105TOC-4GL/dp/B06WWLWWJM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1505808108&sr=8-1&keywords=1050+ti+low+profile

Hope this helps

Re: M900 SFF upgrade PSU

Hi there,

thanks for the info. I have a M800 SFF, and wishing to do the same.

I have noticed two differences:

1. the positions of three rear screw holes do not seem to match with the original, and

2. the one Amazon is selling does not have the dent at theundersurface where it locks to the bottom of case.

Do these matter? How do you secure the PSU to case without the screws and dents?

thanks

OK, in the photo you posted, the one on the right is a "TFX" power supply, used in previous generations of SFFs (M93/83/73 going back to M90?), one of which I have , a M73.  The supply on the left in the photo is the "Flex ATX" supply, which according to the posters above is used in this generation of SFF.   I don't have one of these, so I can't verify that myself.  They are not interchangeble, but it is possible to upgrade a TFX supply if that's what you have.

Can you provide the model number, run 'sys info', it's on the first page.

M7/8/9 00 do NOT use Flex ATX

They use a custom size variation of TFX but few millimiters less: 150(L) X 81.5(W) X 65(H) mm

It just happens that Flex ATX will fit in that space as it is 150mm (L) × 81.5 mm (W) × 40.6mm (H)

And if holes align then you can get it fixed properly, otherwise it needs a custom adapter plate

the One on the left is the Flex ATX PSU @jiyaey succesfully replaced with. the one on the right is the original M800 SFF PSU. Their dimension are virtually the same. TFX PSU is way bigger than the original.

as someone mentioned, the dimesions are not a perfect match but they "fit" together

luckly, out of 3 original spaces, there is 1 matched hole

and with only one screw the new psu is securely fixed to the case
