Mod:  edited text and subject to obscure serial number, per forum guideline to prevent it's unauthorized use;  and changed 'CD' to 'DVD', as current OS' are not available on CDs.

Re: M90z Recovery CD order

Lenovo - How can I create Recovery Media (DVD or USB), or order Recovery Media (DVD or USB)

Try downloading the file, and writting to a 16 GB+ USB drive first - there's no cost for that.  And you might want to install Win 8.1, as all Win 7 support ends in 4 months.  Win 10 is not officially supported for this M90 model, and all models with an Intel processor prior to 'Ivy Bridge.'

Re: M90z Recovery CD order

Hi,

@BiggAl thanks for your reply,

When i go to the Lenovo Windows Recovery Media page and enter my S/N, i got this message: "Multiple Machine Types have been detected for this Serial Number".

If i add the S/N + Machine Type i got this message: "This is not a valid Windows machine for the recovery media program".

I got in touch with a support representative this afternoon and he tells me i was missing a digit in my serial, i got a 7 digit instead of 8 apparently which confused me more.

So still looking for a good soul to guide me, thanks for your reply.
