M91p - BSOD after Win 10 update, sleep related

M91p 7033-A1U, updated to Windows 10 Pro x64 and now multiple BSODs per day. I've run the Lenovo driver updates and everything is up-to-date including power management software. Also reset BIOS to defaults. The BSODs seem to be related to sleep mode but not 100% sure about that. The BSOD message is "driver irql not less or equal...ndis.sys". I only have one add-on to the unit, a USB3 card. Anybody else having this or suggestions on how to proceed? I'm considering rolling back to W7.

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

Intel does not support this processor (Sandy Bridge) for Windows 10.

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

I had a similar experience on an M91p with Core i5-2400.

I gave up and went back to Windows 7.

Please post an update if you get yours to work.

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

Back when I posted the original message I gave up and rolled back to W7. I did eventually find a reference somewhere on the Lenovo website that W10 was not supported on the unit. Actually, now I put Linux Mint on it and gave it to my wife -- it works great!

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

I have the same problem. WIndows 10 64 bit installed on M91p and I get BSOD a few times a day showing "Critical Structure Corruption" without any further useful infos. I have spent hours troubleshooting and testing with driver verifier and any other solutions posten on the net, without success.

I gave up and went back to windows 7 and the system is stable.

I wounder however, how some manage to run windows 10 on the m91p. There are even vendors who sell m91p with WIn 10 preinstalled.

I can't belive, that m91p is not able to run windows 10.

I hope for a solution. Please if anyone has a solution please post an update on this thread. Thanks!

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

Exact same problem, Critical Structure Corruption and BSOD.  Unfortunately, I'm past the 30 day roll back period (since we went away for 3 weeks).  Sounds like going back to W7 is only option.  Wish there was an easy way to roll back after the 30 days past.

Re: ThinkCentre M91p 7033A1U - Windows 10 BSOD

I have installed a lot of windows 10 on M91p without having any problems. i5-2400

A week ago, a new installed machine getting BSOD:s after 2 hours of testing.

When reading the BSOD-log, I could find that it was related to the system bios.

I had just installed the bios update from 2014 (latest, and recommended) on this machine.

When I installed the earlier version from the same page, the system went stable again.

Page with downloadable files:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/se/en/downloads/ds018245

Do NOT use the latest, recommended bios with W10 ( 9HKT58A, 29 Jul 2014 )

Instead use the older, 9HKT54A, 01 Nov 2012

After changing to the 2012-version, I hard-tested the system with a couple of 10 hour videos running on youtube + Prime95 for maximum stress testing, and it passed. Using the 2014-version, it broke down within 2 hours.

Lenovo: Please get a bios fix for this. It is still a great machine for giving away to schools / charity
