M91p - Upgraded hardware, now won't boot (beeping)

Hello everyone, I have the m91p and recently upgraded some hardware; ram, cpu, and video card. When I first powered it on, it booted fine and I was able to log in. Now when I try to boot it, I get 3 short beeps, followed by 3 long, and ending with 1 short beep. Does anyone know what this beep sequence means? I tried taking out all the new components and replacing with the old and the beeping still occurs. Could this be the power supply?

Tell me about the memory.  What did you have before?  What do you have now?

It had 16GB before, and I added 8GB more. I tried putting the old 16GB back in and it still didn't work.

16 GB was the max for the M91p, 24 GB won't be recognized.   If you're returned it all to original, I don't know why it's not booting, that post beep code is not documented in the Hardware Maintenance manual.

Re: Upgraded hardware - now desktop won't boot (beeping)

So I got it working...the new-to-me CPU (handed down) I got wasn't compatible with the mobo, but what's weird is the first time I installed it and booted up the PC, it started fine and I checked in the OS that it was recognized. Booting it up the second time and afterward is when it seized and giving me that beeping code.

24GB memory- it's showing that 24 is installed, but is it actually 24 usable?

Well done!   Go to Windows Task Manager>Performance, and post a screen shot (capture with MS Paint [Alt + PrtSc] if you don't have an app.)

If you click on Memory on the left side, it will detail the memory usage further, but appears to be using 24 GB.  Nice!
