M92p Tiny - RAM Voltage Question

2018-04-27, 20:32 PM

Hello!  I am new here and would appreciate any insight from you more seasoned users.

I am in the process of cobbling together an M92p Tiny desktop from pieces and parts acquired from various sources.  I would like to get the memory up to 8GB starting out.  I have a matched pair of 2X4GB Dual Channel SO-Dimms, BUT they are 1.5 volt.  Most of what I am reading tends to indicate that I should be running 1.35v memory, but if I can use these two older sticks, I'd like to do so and keep my out of pocket cost down.

Anyone have experience running 1.5 volt RAM in these systems?  The motherboard is an IQ77T.

Thank you!

Sherrick

The original 4GB SODIMM that shipped with the M92p Tiny was part number/FRU 03t6457 (shown in the images below) and as you can clearly see it is 1.5V, so your ram should work as as long as the rest of the specs are correct.

FRU   03t6457  - 4GB 1600MHz SoDIMM DDR3 PC3-12800

Cheers,

Thank you so much! The info I pulled from Lenovo's site didn't specify 1.35, but everywhere else I looked - like Crucial, Kingston, etc. - did indicate low voltage. This information helps a great deal. Thank you again!
