M92p tiny max supported RAM

2017-10-30, 11:08 AM

According to Lenovo specs the tiny supports maximum 16 GB of ram.

Has anyone tried putting more than that to see if it works? I am tempted to try 2x 16GB, but will it work?

Both CPU and Q77 chipset support 32 GB ram, is there some hardware/BIOS limitation?

Could it be just because there was no single 16GB SODIMM at the release time?

Check the Crucial (and Kingston) websites for what they state is the max memory for this system.   If 16GB dimms were tested and worked, they will show that.

I'm not aware of 16 GB dimms working with this any of this generation ThinkCentre.  If you do try, please let us know the result, either way.  Good luck.

Did you ever test it? Does it work? I'm curious too.
