Monitor problem

I have ThinkCentre S51 (8172-KGV) for about a year. I was using it with the default components, but now i bought a new video card (ASUS EN8500GT Silent). The problem is that when i remove the existing pci-e card, and put the new card in the pci-e slot on the adapter, the monitor doesn't work, like he is getting no signal from the computer. Anyone knows where the problem is?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Monitor problem

so i assume that all connectors are connected and there is no loose connection. Some graphics card need additional power connector inorder to work, especially the higher end ones, as the PCI-e slot just don't provide enough power. So have a look there.
