Did you perform a clean install of windows? If thinkvantage system update is unable to fine the correct driver,you may also go to device manager-->right click on the device and select update drivers

Yes, I did a clean install as I don't like all the stuff which is pre-installed on lenovo-systems.
I put all the chipset drivers in place but that one seems to be missing, the driver search in device manager does not give any result. Think Vantage is not installed on that machine.
