Pci Serial Port

2012-01-02, 13:36 PM

I have a Lenovo M58 6209 system running xp sp3.

It has a bios 5cht76aus with e840 processor

1Xpci express X1

1Xpci express X16

I have upgraded the AMT FW to 3.2.60 and the management software to 5.2 as per the forin discussions

I have tried the update the dirver and it comes up with not supported.I have used thinkvamtage tool box to try to repair as well. The device does not update.I have uninstalled and rebooted. The device is found and cannot be updated.I have notice one item on the board to try the intel driver .The same error occurs. The system works ok with the error in device manager

indicating no resources being used. The device is on the board because every time it is deleted it is put back on.

Has someone has any ideas?

Many Thanks
