I have a lenovo A57 9704 75G thinkcentre and I recently switched a wire to my video card (ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT). I previously had a dms 59 analog splitter wire and I changed it from that to DVI. The reason I changed the wire was that my computer screen was ghosting and I read it could be because of the wire so I decided to switch it out and use DVI instead. However once I switched the wire out everything started running extremely slow. I went from a 1 minute startup to now about 7-10 mins startup. I ran a lenovo thinkvantage toolbox test on it and I received a failed RTC Accuracy Test but am not sure if that is what is causing the problem. I am running widows 7 which I just installed on the system and it was running wonderfully, with the exception of the ghosting on my screen, before i changed the wire. I have tried to switch back to the analog wire to see if it would run normally again but no luck. I was wondering if any one could help me with this issue?
