Re: Lenovo PC won't shut down

Six thinkcentre m71e (3167) computers. At all one problem - the pc does not switch off after Power down command in win7_64/win10_64. Screen freezes on shutting down screen. After installing the drivers of the integrated graphics card, the screen goes blank, but the computer does not turn off.
Reinstalling the system, updating the BIOS, changing various BIOS settings and the operating system, replacing RAM, CPU, installing discrete graphics cards - nothing helped.
On all computers, the problem was solved by installing the Windows 7_64 in Legacy mode. In the BIOS there is no this option. I installed the system from flash drive. On the Thinkcentre boot screen press Enter. In the Startup interrupt meny press F12 (choose a temporary startup device). For the flash drive is offered to choose the installation mode - legacy or uefi. Quickboot in BIOS remains enabled.

Re: Lenovo PC won't shut down

I have the same problem with my V570.

It was working fine with 64x Win 10, when I desided to format the hard drive.

I removed a partitition, aparently containing Lenovo factory files.

Now Windows closes but the laptop doesn't shut down. Freezes on a black screen and the fan works on high speed.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

KS
