ThinkCentre M700 SFF: 3D business software graphics upgrade (Quadro 420, 3DPassMark)

Lenovo ThinkCentre SFF M700 Intel Quad Core i7-6700, 16GB RAM, 500GB Solid State Drive.   Looking to upgrade GPU for 3D software needs (Not games). On the June 2017 compatibility matrix I only see the Nvidia Quadro K420 as applicable. That card does not have a high enough 3DPassMark for the software I am using. What options do I have to get a more powerful GPU for this machine?

I only need 1 video out.

Thanks!

The read me file for the Nvidia driver for your system on the Lenovo support page has a list of supported cards, Quadro and GeForce (gaming.)   Since you have a SFF, you'll need a low-profile card (I believe the best GeForce card is Gtx 1050 Ti), check the length to ensure it will fit, and you may want to upgrade your TFX power supply.

This may be of help comparing Quadro to GeForce:   Puget Systems -- Why you should use a Quadro video card in Solidworks 2016
