ThinkCentre M71e 64 Bits Graphics Drivers

2016-07-05, 13:40 PM

Please can someone give the correct Graphics Driver for the ThinkCentre M71e 3134 for Windows 7. Everytime i install the one that appears on the support web, it drops a blue screen with the IRQ LESS OR NOT EQUAL error.

Greetings and thanks in advance.

Which Intel processor (& Intel graphics) are you using ?    What is your BIOS version ?

First thing I'd suggest is updating the BIOS, it's a year out-off-date, to eliminate it as a factor.

And you're saying you have updated to the latest graphics driver on the Lenovo support website ?

Under Windows Update, 'Optional' updates, is there an update for the graphics ?   (irrespective, I suggest you install optional updates)

That shoundn't break the graphics, everything now is 64-bit.   What process did you use for the upgrade, exactly.

First ive added 2GB for RAM and then ive done a Clean Windows 7 Installation from a 64 Bits Windows 7 ISO From the Microsoft Volume License web. What it calls my attention its when its says 'Press Any Key...' , it says in English not Spanish, even when the ISO its in Spanish.

Thanks again for you help and orientation.

OK, that helps.

From the Lenovo support page for your system,  have you installed the Win 7 64-bit drivers for all the components in your system?    Most important being the Chipset, Audio, and the Video.

Use this method to uninstall and then reinstall the video driver.

Then I would download, install, and run the different Lenovo tools:   System Update, and Solution Centre.   Use Update to update any other drivers, and Solution Centre to run full diagnostics.

What did the optional updates in Windows show ?

I'm leaving for an appmt, will check in when I get back.
