Thinkcentre M710q Warranty support

I reported my computer broken on decemeber 11th.

I have an on site warranty and I am still waiting for repair, Today is January 4. That is almost four week when it should be a next day service.

I dont get any answers from the Swedish support centre.

They only fed me with lies.

I have got two different dates and time when a repair technician should arrive, nobody came.

I have been promised spare parts sent to me, nothing came.

They have promised me to call a support technician and the that the technician or the support guy should call me back, no phone calls.

 

Have any one else had issues like this ?

Hello and welcome to Community,

It looks as though a mainboard availability issue is the cause of the delay which they are trying to resolve. You can request via the Call Centre that your case be escalated to a complaint because of the delay, that would then be passed to a Case Manager who would then look into alternate resolutions.

I have been in contact with the Lenovo support every day.

Today they told me that a spare part has been delivered to the local serveice center and that they will repair the computer on thursday.

Lets se if that happens.

Hi.

 

There has not been any repair of my computer today.

I called th customer supprot again today and talked to another guy this time.

 

It turned out that the promises I got on tuesday was more lies and the guy must have known this.

There were still no spareparts delivered to the service technicians and that was clearly shown on the case.

 

Ther problem is tha the service company will not repair computers at homes, only at offices.

So I had to open a new case with my office address. And suddenly they could order a new mainboard, and got the delivery date confirmed on Monday.

 

 

Why did I not get this information from the beginning =

I then rerquested to talk to the manager to complain about all the lies but they refused.

The guy I talked to this was really helpful and he sent an email to his boss with my complaints.

But I will not be able to talk to any manager and complain.

I really would like to do that since it has been the same guy, Joel, everytime ho has been lying to me.

Creating a new case with an office adress worked.

The computer was repaired yesterday.
