I have a Tiny Thinkcentre M715q Ryzen 5 PRO 2400ge, I want to upgrade the RAM
but I hesistate between 2x8gb DDR4 SODIMM : 3200mhz and 2666mhz from Crucial.
Which one would be best for performance? will the 3200 work? the psref says it's clocked down to 2933 is that correct?
Is the desktop also compatible with the samsung 860 SSD EVO? does it have the case to put the SSD in? I bought it with only the nvme
Mod: edited the Subject line to clarify the system model as 2nd gen; added 3200

Check the speed your existing memory is running at (MemTest86), according the spec, it runs at 2666 for the higher spec processors, (2400 for the lower spec.)
Your system has a M.2 PCIe NVMe slot, and could accommodate a 970 Evo SSD card, which would be several times faster than a 2.5" 860 Evo drive (which is compatible, the system also has one 2.5" drive bay.)

The difference in practice between nvme and sata is marginal and not worth the cost, it's wiser to get a bigger sata. it's only faster on paper.
My RAM is running at 2666 but I want to replace it with 3200 I was aking if the crucial sodimm would be compatible. thx
