it begun after upgrading to windows 10... it used to run smoothly with the new windows 10, then suddenly it just wont boot the bios!! theres a power led on, and the screen works fine but theres no respounse from the system, not even turning on the screen... i left it for about 3 years and used its screen for gaming consoles, then the last week i decided to check on microsoft support for a solution... so turned on my lenovo and pressed the key combos that have been told by microsoft (holding windows key+cntrl+shift+B then pressing f1 or f2 or f3.. also did caps+num also spammed f1 and f2 and f11 and f12) i thought it was dead already so i left it on, and got on my xbox... then it was the surprise!! it decided to boot to the bios menu after leaving it on for about 20 minutes!!... so i updated the time on the bios and ENABLED FLASHING THE BIOS TO OLDER VERSION then restored it to optimal defoult... it booted up windows like it was fixed !!! then after turning it off and getting back to it after a couple of hours, its dead again... no boot and no bios menu...so got to chat with the amazing guys on microsoft support and they helped me downgrade to win8.1... i did some real keybourd spamming to bring the bios menu again(left the pc on for 20 minutes untel that happenned) i did some boot orders, and was able to format and delete everything on the system... it was a fresh windows 8.1 thought i really fixed it this time, but turned out nop!! not really better luck next time!!! dead again !!! pls help me with this strange and frustating problem with anything you can!
i forgot to mention i did the cmos bios jumper methos 2 or maybe 3 times, then the pc got stuck in restarting loop, and stopped restarting when i touched the back metal frame and held it... got me little electric shock but stopped the loop!!!?? feels like electricity problem too??? after that i could downgrade to windows 8.1...also changed the motherbuord's battery but it was not broken, so wasn't the problem.
i've did some real research and found a lot of ppl with the same problem, tryed all there ways and nop didn't help.
also turned out lenovo didn't bother to offer a bios update that is compatable with windows 10 for my model!!!!... so the main problem is not a bad use of the pc its FREAKEN COMPATABILTY PROBLEM thanks to lenovo!!!
no support from lenovo!!!!???? im bouncing between every site and support for this bad service THANK YOU LENOVO!!!
