m700 Tiny - i7-6700 instead of i7-6700T

I want to upgrade the i3-6100T CPU on my m700 Tiny to an i7-6700T. Unfortunately, they are not easy to come by new. However, the i7-6700 is easy to find. The question is, will the i7-6700 work in the m700 Tiny.

If it will work at all, do I have to upgrade the power supply to 90 watts? The T series processors are 35 watts, the non-T version is 65 watts. I suspect I would also have to replace the heatsink / fan.

Does anyone have a definite, non-speculative answer?  As an alternative, where can I get a i7-6700T new? I am reluctant to drop a used one in, but may end up going that route.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm sure that the system size necessitates a custom cooler (similar to a laptop cooler), and it's capacity dictates what processors were able to be used.

Re: m700 Tiny - i7-6700 instead of i7-6700T

@sclexman -  Thanks for the link for the 6700T. That's a big help.

The m900 Tiny lists the 6700 as one of the CPUs. I know it's a different chipset. Supposedly, the b150 chipset also supports the 6700. So any reason it shouldn't work in the m700?

In any case, I'm just going to go with the 6700T.  Thanks.

Re: m700 Tiny - i7-6700 instead of i7-6700T

Further investigation reveals that since the i7-6700 and variants are not in production, only used CPUs of the 6700T are avaialable. There are some new 6700 and 6700Ks floating around. I don't like buying used parts.

So the question remains, will the i7-6700 work with the m700 Tiny?
