thinkcentre m91p temp sensor pinout

I have the 2N3904 transistor, that used as thermal sensor.

Can somebody give me a pinout of the thermal sensor connector for properly wiring this transistor to the connector?

I'm confused, the photo in the link above shows it having a connector.  Isn't a case of simply connecting it to where the old one was?

Thermal sensor was missing in my case.
I have just a piece of wire with no transistor on the end. I get it in this condition from the previous user.

Disconnect this piece of wire and connect the new sensor.

If nobody will help me with pinout, i guess i`l do like you say.
The case is that in Ukraine price of new sensor plus shipping is greater than price of brand new compatible motherboard.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M91p M73 Thermal Sensor Cable 54Y9922

 

Disassembled original cable.
28 AWG cable - 2 cores, overall shield.
transistor 2n3904 - base and collector are soldered together.
From the transistor side, the white wire to the emitter, red to the base with the collector, the screen is simply cut off not connected anywhere.
On the motherboard side, the screen wires are distributed over three contacts (black wires in the plug).
