Closing lid on a ThinkPad E530

2012-08-23, 14:27 PM

Hi,

I would need to make my laptop do nothing when I close the lid on it, but I cannot find a place where to do it.

When I connect my laptop to a screen at work the resolution is too small, and I cannot change the resolution as long as the lid on my laptop is open. But where do I change what actions the computer does when I close the lid?

Thank you very much in advance for any assistance!

Cheers,

Pontus

Hi Pontus,

You can control what happens when the lid is closed in Power Manager, under the Battery tab, Basic.  You will see it on the lefthand side of the page.
