E15 Gen2 microphone issues with Zoom

I have deployed 5 of these laptops and users keep reporting very low microphone volumes or microphone cutting out in the middle of Zoom calls. 

 

These gen2s have Realtek audio chips wheres the E15 gen1s have Synaptic

 

Anyone experiencing issues with Gen2s like this?

Hi 

Could you confirm your system is E15 Gen2 Intel or AMD platform?  Please provide system type number, find type number on the label on system base cover.  

is there any video or display issues except microphone issues during Zoom ? 

Could you confirm if your system audio driver is up to date?

                   It happens on every call, could be calls with lots of people

2. did microphone cut out completely? could it recover by itself? 

                   Its does not completely cut out. The receiver can hear the user at a very low volume. Almost muffled

3. Could you provide your Windows/OS version?   

                    Windows 10 1909

 

I just have a users reporting this is happening in Teams as well

I have tried disabling all noise suppression features in Teams and Zoom

 

Disabled audio enhancements and exclusive control in microphone properties 

 

I noticed these laptops label the microphone as "Intel SST Microphone Array"  Can I remove this driver so its a generic Realtek?

This is still an ongoing issue. Mainly with group calls. I believe there is an issue with the noise cancellation.
