Re: E460 Keys repeating when pressed for 3 seconds

Hi sorry for bumping an old thread but I am getting the exact same issue on a L440.  Using Linux Mint 18.3.

I have updated to the latest BIOS v1.89

I cannot seem to downgrade to an older BIOS either anymore.

Is there any solution for the L440?
Thanks.

Check out post #18 E460-Keys-repeating-when-pressed-for-3-seconds__Post #18

For details check.

It is almost certainly a default tool in your distro.  Do a couple simple checks and post your results. This will give Lenovo a better grasp of your issue and they will be more likely and able to help you.

Good luck.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I should have been more clear:
The problem I'm having seems to be exactly the same as others in this thread. The same thing happened in Windows 7, Windows 10 and Antergos. Sometimes when this happens the keyboard and trackpad both stop functioning. If I force a restart the keyboard does not work in the BIOS either. USB mouse and keyboard carry on working fine.
