Re: Edge E320 - Wireless Driver Issue

if all else fails, maybe try to install the original factory recovery OS again and see whether the problem persists.

Sadly not got the original OS, as one of the things I tried was installing our usual image and it formatted the drive & deleted partitions...

I'm also having this type of a problem with this machine, I did exacty things that you did and it did'nt resolved the issue.  The only temporary resolution that I did was to disable and enable the Wireless device from the device manager, then the wireless device will worked properly.  But if you'll shutdown or restart the machine you'll have to do the enabling /  disabling procedure again.

Hi,

I've the same problem, with the same machine... I tried everything but nothing works. I don't want to reinstall the SO but I think that is the only solution (if it is a solution..). For now, everytime I start my ThinkPad, I have to disable/enable the wireless device.

This problem started after I reinstalled the SO when I bought the pc.

Regards.

Re: Edge E320 - Wireless Driver Issue

Hi Guys, I've got the same issue. We bought two E320's (1298-A6G). Standard procedure is to wipe the factory installs with all it's bloatware and put a fresh Win7 on. I downloaded the correct drivers from the Lenovo support page. At first all was well, then as soon as you reboot the machine the wireless device is disabled, or 'not present' according to the intel diag tool. So I go into device manager and disable/enable then bam all good again...until your restart the machine ofc.

I looked at delaying service start times but that didn't work. This is really very poor for Lenovo, we could use some answers please. What else should we be looking for?

If you can't help I'm within my rights to return the products under UK law.

Regards

Dear all,

I solved the sudden problem with E320 "Wifi Radio switch off" by installing driver Hotkey Features Integration. Worth try,
