Can anyone tell me how to do this?  I spent hours searching Lenovo's support site with no answer.  There is a webpage with instructions but does not work on the Edge running W7.

Hi bretonmaitre, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!

Community members have frequently mentioned yawcam as being a good way to do this.

I use Lenovo's Easy Capture.  Very simple but good program. No issues.

I'm just wondering why this is checked off as a solution...since clearly OP had questions regarding the camera, beyond the suggestion of the integrated camera software not intended to be distributed with this model..?

integrated camera

I have a thinkpad edge, and I can't figure out how to use my integrated camera. When I go to programs in my windows menu and click on integrated camera, the only option is to uninstall it.  Is there a software I need to download?

There is no camera software bundled with the system but there are many free programs available which work, and everyone has their personal preference. Did you try yawcam or Skype?
