Intel wifi link 1000 bgn problem in my Edge 13

2010-09-03, 10:40 AM

Hi, new to the forum and having a problem.

My WIFI-N is really slow, the edge 13 will connnect 48-72Mbps only.

I know it only has the 2,4GHz channel and no 5GHz at all. this should not prevent me having at least 150Mbps connection. My router is full 300Mbps device.

My settings:

Edge: 802.11n bandwith for 2,4GHz =auto, Ad Hoc QoS = WMM enabled, transmitting power = 5. max

Router: WPA2 (pre shared key) AES, Area = Europe, Channel ID = auto, Transmitting power = 100, Bandwith = 20/40MHz

Similar case is described here, but it not solved yet.

Thanks AltGr
