Sleep Function NOT Working Properly

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad 11e 20DA running Windows 10. When  the laptop lid is closed the device will not go to sleep or hibernate. It will how ever go to sleep if it is manually selected. It also automatically goes to sleep after about a minute of no activity. This is really annoying because no matter what I set it to in settings this stays the same. I have tried to adjust different power settings, and I also tried updating the power management drivers. I was even on windows support trying to troubleshoot the issue. Are there any solutions I haven't tried yet.

Just to clarify, have you tried checking the settings under power options on what the lid does when it's closed? 
Check for pending Windows update and install it. Update the BIOS and the Display and Video driver manually from the support site: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en.

Yes, I have. I just perform an update yesterday and that allows it to sleep now when it is closed, but I still have no control over when it turns off the screen after a period of no activity.

Please a screenshot of the display driver version/date under the device manager and the system information highlighting the BIOS version and the Windows 10 OS version.
