Thinkpad E14 freezes when pressing the power button

2020-09-17, 14:52 PM

Hello, Does anybody know why my Thinkpad E14 freezes when i press the power button once? The screen turns off but the laptop still working and the power button LED stays on.  it results in me having to “forcefully” turn it off by holding the power button. But i'm sure when you press the power button once it should go to sleep not freeze! Thanks

Look in the event log and see if a device is throwing a message at the time of the freeze.

There is no log at the time of the freeze but after the laptop turns on there are four logs that I think it's related to the unexpected shutdown.

I attached a photo of those logs.

thanks
