I have a Lenovo thinkpad e490 with a i5-8265U and i want to know if it's possible to upgrade it maybe by a core i7, is that possible? I did a small research but I can't found information about that.

Hello a.coronel,
unfortunately, this isn't possible as the CPU is soldered to the motherboard. To change the CPU, you would have to swap the whole motherboard which might not really be efficient as the motherboard with all its modules is one of the most expensive parts of your machine.
