Device driver software was not successfully installed after recovery

I reformatted my c drive yesterday. I used the discs that came with the machine.
Now that i have the message "Install a driver for your network adapter".
Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter"

I have checked in device manager and there is no network adapter.

I have a partitioned drive. Q drive has Lenovo stuff on it.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Lenovo ThinkPad E520

I thank-you in advance for helping me resolve this problem.

Re: Device driver software was not successfully installed after recovery

1. Go to https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-edge-laptops/thinkpad-edge...

2. Select OS: Win10/64 from the pull-down list on the left side of the page.

3. Download and install Lenovo System Update for Windows 10 (32-bit, 64-bit), 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit), 8 (32-bit, 64-bit), 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - Desktop, Notebook, Workstation

4. Run System Update and install the software and drivers it suggests. That should include the network adapter driver.

This process could take some time and you may have to reboot a few times. Be sure to follow the cautionary warnings along the way, especuially with respect to BIOS updates.
