Display Screen goes blank for a few seconds when AC power supply is plugged in or unplugged

Hi,

I have got this new Thinkpad E570. Right from first day, the display screen goes blank for a few seconds everytime I connect/disconnect the AC power supply. Can someone advise on this problem?

Thanks

Re: Display Screen goes blank for a few seconds when AC power supply is plugged in or unplugged

Hi Sukeshram,

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.

As I understand that you are facing issue while plug in & unplugin the AC adapter in your Thinkpad E570

While on AC power, Desktop>Right Click> Graphic Properties>Display>Refresh Rate.

Here, set the Screen Refresh Rate to 50 Hertz if it 60 Hertz. And apply the settings to check.

I hope the above information helps.
Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,
Prabhansh

I have Thinkpad E570. I was facing same issue.

After changing refresh rate from 60Hz to 48Hz it got solved.

Thank You.
