Re: E 570 - Screen goes black when I plug in the power cord

Hi Shiyazkarim,

Warm Greetings & welcome to Lenovo Community, happy to have you here.

As I understand that you are facing issue that display goes back temporarily while connecting & disconnecting of AC Adapter.

Please go to Settings>System>Display>Advanced Display Settings>Display Adapter Properties>Intel HD Graphics Control Panel & Change to Refresh Rate to 50p Hz

I hope the above information helped you.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,
Prabhansh

Re: E 570 - Screen goes black when I plug in the power cord

Hi Prabhansh

My laptop has two options: 48 Hz and 60 Hz. Is 48 Hz a substitute for 50 Hz?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

That's right please select 48Hz if 50Hz is not there.

Re: E 570 - Screen goes black when I plug in the power cord

I have the same porblem

my laptop is Lenovo E420, usnig Windows 10, suddenly screen goes black once plug the power cord; while it works just fine on battery

I try to change refresh rate, but it is only 60p GHz, with no option to change it or other value.

I try to change power plan options ... without any change.
