E330 with H5321gw, how to force 3G only

Hello all,

I have a Thinkpad Edge E330 with Windows 7 Professional. The computer has an Ericsson H5321gw mobile broadband modem that I am using because I don't have a wired/wlan connection at home. The situation is as follows: 2G has better signal in some parts of the house, while 3G has better in others. Usually 3G is much weaker however - but it is faster than 2G. Because I need to have access to the internet with usable speeds almost 24/7 because of studies and work I'd like to force the modem to only use 3G?

I have the latest drivers & updates from lenovo, including Lenovo Access Connections.

Is it possible to use only 3G?

Re: E330 with H5321gw, how to force 3G only

I found out how to do this. 1) Remove Access Connections. 2) Install TOSHIBA Wireless Manager. 3) ... 4) Profit. Also, SMS works without xml rewriting.
