I upgrade E440 M.2 16GB SSD to 256GB SSD Adata Premier Pro SP900 (M.2 2242) (ASP900NS34-256GM-C).
HW - change SSD disks in the notebook.
BIOS - change priority boot 1.) DVD 2.) SSD
INSTAL - using the windows 8 recovery disk set
System and boot works perfectly.
Can I format an entire disk 0 only for storage?

Hi, I do this the same way as you did. But now, i am worried. The Laptop si heating much more then before. I think, this is the M.2 SSD drive which is heating and is not cooling enought. The fan is still going on avarage or higher speed. I am afraid, that my battery life will be reduced because of the heat and fun speed. Do you have the same experience? The fact is, that in manual is written, that M.2 slot on this laptop is designed only for caching and they are NOT recommended to use this as system drive.
I just want to know your experience about this.
Thank you very much
