E520 - Ricoh Card Reader Driver Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Hi guys, I would like to ask for a help. I already sent message to Lenovo but after 1 week I still didn't get any answer. I have a problem with Ricoh Media Card Reader at my ThinkPad Edge E520 1143-37G. When I try to install 8ass82ww.exe I don't see it in Device Manager in IDE/ATAPI and on every reboot I get notification that driver is not installed. So I had a look into extracted 8ass82ww.exe and I found out difference in risdxc.inf:

In Device Manager I see PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E823&SUBSYS_21E217AA under HW ID

but in risdxc.inf I see VEN_1180&DEV_E823&SUBSYS_00011179.

I tried to change SUBSYS value to 21E217AA and ran setup.exe, but still no luck. Then I tried to install driver via Device Manager and driver got installed (at least it's showned under IDE/ATAPI) but ThinkVantage update utility still offers me Ricoh driver update. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx a lot.

Re: E520 - Ricoh Card Reader Driver Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I realized it happens only when I use dual boot with any Linux distro - probably caused by bootloaders (grub4dos, lilo, grub). Still have no idea how to fix it or if it's gonna be fixed on next BIOS update.
