I seem to be having the same issue as many here:
My laptop was still working and performing like new, never had anything wrong with it, then one morning it would not turn on, the power LED at the power cable connection doesn't even light up when plugged in. It is only a few months out of warranty, but for a known manufacturing defect would Lenovo do anything about it? According to ACCC, consumer rights apply for the amount of time that is reasonable to expect, given the cost and quality of the item. For a laptop I would expect it to last longer than 1 year, for a problem as major as not even switching on.
