I have E530 (3259C2G) with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and nVidia GeForce GT630M.
When I use external monitor connected to the analog port and look
nVidia control panel / Set PHysx Configuration the external display is always shown on the
Intel side (right) never on Geforce side (left).
My question is it able use the Geforce on external display?
Can I force it always to use just Geforce, just to test it, if not how to test it? I am not playing games on it.
I am using the computer mainly for photoshop and video editing.
The fan is sometimes annoying.

Hi, I just got the Edge 530, I really really like it so far (using it for graphics as well), the Lenovo software turned out to be very useful actually (I was sure when I got it I would have to "clean" install Windows) and I guess that nVidia card only goes through the D-Sub port (VGA).
At least the nVidia panel shows it that way. I might be totally wrong (probably am?) Check it out:

For me is allways looks like this. Regardless of the settings.
I also did clean install.
Weird thing you Intel card box look a bit different than mine.
My nVidia driver: 188.8.131.521
and Intel: 184.108.40.20678
I also like the computer.

I assumed it would use the VGA too, even went out and bought a cable to, in the same boat, I want the dedicated card to use hdmi or vga, but I've had no success in figuring out how to do this and I'm starting to wonder if it's even possible.
The onboard graphics quality/colour is abysmal, here's what's displayed when connecting via VGA, with all setting/options tested.
