E580 - Compatible Intel Wifi Cards

Hi, I have a Thinkpad E580 (Type 20KS 20KT) Laptop

20KSCTO1WW

It came with the Realtek 8822BE Wifi card installed, I've been having issues with this (and from what I remember, previous machines with realtek) and windows 10

What Intel brand wifi cards are compatible with this laptop, 2x2 like the realtek would be preferred, but not essential.

Would I have to get a Lenovo SKU'd item?

WLAN
One of the following, configurable by model:
• Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, 1x1, Wi-Fi + BT combo adapter, M.2 Card < what you want
Realtek® RTL8822BE, Wi-Fi 2x2 802.11ac + BT4.1, M.2 card < yours
• Realtek RTL8821CE, Wi-Fi 1x1 802.11ac + BT4.1, M.2 card

Accoring to this official Lenovo specs document YOU CAN put a 1X1 card in the current slot where the Realtek 8822BE is. And your laptop should recognize it.

Re: E580 - Compatible Intel Wifi Cards

Interesting that its such a old Intel listed, released 3 years before the E580 came out
