Today I had a somewhat similar situation. It was stuck at 99% and 3 minutes remaining, however in my case after unplugging and reconnecting the power adapter charging went up to full 100%.

The Lenovo Power Manager is set by default to start charging when the battery falls below 96%, and stop at 100%. The setting is in the Power Manager, under Battery Maintenance.

i ve changed the Power Manager Setting to Charge Mod : Always fully charge (Start when below %96 , stop at %100) , i ll see what happens now .
another question is > how many hours does it shows when fully charged in your Edge ? mine shows 3.30 hrs with Intel CPU 4 cell battery.
thank you again.

Hi again ,
problem still going on .. i changed the setting from Power Management but didnt help me .. it stops at %99 and shows 6 or 7 minutes remaining for fully charge but for hours it doesnt charge fully... and after restarting or logging off after many hours it shows%100 .
i plug the adapter when it s about below %50 and when it has low charge , so it s not about not charging below %96 setting .. it doesnt never charge fully ..
how can i solve this problem ??

after fully charging the battery on my edge 14 it will say the battery life initially will show its good for 4 hours. after about 5 min however it shows its only good for 2. It was advertised to have a 5 1/2 hour battery life. what is wrong with my battery?

Please update the BIOS on your ThinkPad edge systems to the latest level. The new BIOS includes battery firmware updates that should resolve these symptoms.

Another thing to keep in mind is that modern laptops drastically slow the battery charging rate when it gets above 90%. I don't remember the exact reason behind this, but batteries are charged much quicker below 90%, then the rate slows down significantly.
If your battery takes a long time to reach 100%, I wouldn't worry about it. That sounds like normal to me.
In my review, I got 5 hours of battery life out of a 6-cell Edge 13 with Intel processor, and this was with moderate usage as well. Keep in mind that the runtime counter updates based on current usage. When you unplug, it may say 5-6 hours. But if you start cranking up the CPU, the runtime estimate will drop accordingly.
If you want to have a good idea of how long your computer is running, shut the laptop down completely and fully charge it. Start it up and use it normally. When the battery reaches critical low level, open the Task Manager via Alt-Ctrl-Del. Go to the "Performance" tab and notice the Up Time counter on the right side - this will tell you how long the computer has been booted up and give you an accurate idea of runtime. Or just remember when you turned the laptop on and count

Hi, I have an issue with the Battery. I have bought the Edge for 2 months now.
Suddenly the battery stops being able to charge. Its stuck at a discouraging 0%... I can only run it on AC power
I don't think its a problem with the battery since its so new... but what else can it be?
