So I closed the lid on my Thinkpad, with Chrome and SuperAntiSpyware running. After opening the lid after about 5 minutes of standby time, nothing. The screen was black as if it was turned off, but the HDD was still whirring. Neither tapping the keyboard nor pressing the power button roused Windows from its sleep. So, for the first time, I've had to turn off my Edge by holding down the power button for 3 seconds.
Is this a known issue on ThinkPads, or was I just unlucky? I've had issues with my desktop (not Lenovo) in the past with standby causing problems with the system BIOS; maybe it's an issue with Windows?
Take care guys,
