Edge 545 Wlan driver

I've got the new Edge 545 and started to install windows as well as the drivers.I can't get to run my wireless though.

I checked my serial and got that I have the LTN 43142 network card

As this card didn't show up in the list of E545 drivers I just installed all three drivers one after the other checking if anything would make it work.

It didn't.

I can't see the Wireless option popping up under Network Connections.

For reference the hardware FRUs:

There were also a couple of hardware devices given in the support which didn't have a FRU but only a Mfg.

Bluetooth is working fine btw.

The devices without driver (code 28) are

Network Controller  Location: PCI bus 3, device 0, function 0

PCI Device Location: PCI bus 4, device 0, function 0

SM Bus Controller Location: PCI bus 0, device 20, function 0

Two unkown devices one on the PCI bus the other on Microsoft APCI-Compliant Embedded Controller

Video Controller Location: PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0

I don't which of those are pertinent but I hope this provides sufficient information.

Re: Edge 545 Wlan driver

I reinstalled Windows and didn't install any drivers prior to the Broadcom WLAN driver.

Now it works.

It seems like the LTN 43142 is actually the Broadcom.

thanks anyhow and I hope some poor soul will appreciate this thread some time.
