Hi, I have an Edge 520 win7 Professional 64 bit.

All was fine until I test a CCleaner for clean my register (bad idea I know); now when I started the laptop, getting this error several minutes after startup:


"Can not start BlueTooth Stack Service".

 

And I can´t synchronize my Iphone by bluetooth anymore.

 

 

Checked forums; all suggested downloading and installing new Bluetooth drivers from Lenovo site (No new updates have been done since 11/10.), I did, restarted and the error continues.

I did the steps in microsoft forum about this error

and nothing, the problem continues.

Do you have any idea about how repair my laptop? In this moment I have expired my warranty :/ .

Hey there maopancho,

 

To clarify, the Microsoft forums indicates to uninstall the driver and reinstall. Have you uninstalled the driver, and rebooted the computer allowing Windows to install a generic Bluetooth driver? Try this, and then go to C:\SWTools\Drivers, from here you will find a folder by the name of TPBTooth or some variation. Inside you will find a driver setup file(I've found that there is another file with the bluetooth icon in here as well), run this.

 

Lastly, you can always try to restore to a point prior to the changes in your registry by using the System Restore Function.
