Today I started up my laptop, signed in using the fingerprint scanner, then checked for updates. After updating (Lenovo Fingerprint Manger - 7/8 [32,63] (Version 4.5.266.0) and Lenovo Solution Center - 7  (Version 2.4.003)) and rebooting the scanner stopped working.
Upon running the device manager, uninstalling the device, rescanning, my laptop attempts to install the device driver and fails.
How can I either uninstall the updates OR load the driver?
This is not a hardware issue, it is something jacked up with either update.
