Lenovo E145 brigthness buttons not working after Windows 8.1 upgrade

After the upgrade to windows 8.1 the two "lenovo hot keys" buttons adjusting the brightness stopped working.


I have tryid to uninstall the display driver and reinstalled the drivers, but no success.


I have also tryied installing the Lenovo power management driver, but no diffrence..


Any suggestions?


I have the Lenovo Edge E145.

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing the issue with Brightness control key on ThinkPad Edge E145.


As you have updated Display driver and Lenovo power management application, I also suggest you to update Hotkey feature application to resolve the issue.


Please download the below provided application and install it once and restart the system and check it once.
