I have owned a Lenovo E520 for years with no problems until 2 days ago when it was shut down last it didn't boot, I attempted to boot again and it took about 30 minutes followed by windows not responding to anything I do (apart from being able to move the mouse)
I've ran anti-malware bytes and multiple virus scans from safemode without any detections, I have checked that all BIOS and boot settings are correct and that there are no memory issues... I feel it is a harddrive issue but I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the topic.
Thank you so much,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue with slow Booting to Windows on your ThinkPad E520.
Hope this helps!
