Its about two weeks my E120 encountered this problem. At the first cool statup I get Fan error! only once and after a reset its fine. When the fan starts, it makes alot of noise, even in low speed. when system gets a bit warmer, noisey fan calms a bit down. but not quiet. I removed both keyboard and the cover below, and removed all the dust (not much dust) by an air blower. But the problem still exists. Should I change the fan or it still have a chance to live?

As was suggested you can replace it but I would also wanted to ask if you have tried to use any Fan control programs and see if you can throttle the fan yourself and if this would still allow you to use your current fan. If you search the internet you can find a few like SpeedFan and TPFancontrol. It would also give you CPU temps too which can see if your running at higher temps then before ( or more exect temps when your fan ramps up) and also check out CPU-Z for temps moniter.

Thanks man, sorry for the very late reply.
I changed the fan. Actually, Lenovo did it for me (It was still in warrantee). Now I have a bigger problem.
Few days ago I realized that my LCD is not straight when I opened the lid. I found out that the left side of the LCD is not attached any more from the inside. I mean the left hinge. I could see when I try to open it, the left side of the body wants to pop up. So I thought maybe the screw went off. Then I opened my laptop (The warrantee is now over), and I saw this:
and it was not attached to the body ANYMORE
Then I found out why the screw is NOT coming out when I was trying to open it from the outside
Lenovo tried to pretend everything is fine (not bad)
For a few days the glue worked (with care), but now it does NOT.
When it was only the fan problem, I did not blame lenovo. The fan comes from another company and this case is very rarer. I said to myself its ok, they can fix it. But when I saw this, I was boiled and angry
My laptop was fixed (but I dont call this fixing, it is lying) by the guys who work for lenovo and I consider it as lenovos fault. I will be glad if anyone can explain this to me, I think there are many ears want to hear it. FYI, I went to lowyat, to the Lenovo repair center.
