Welcome to the forum!

Could you tell us a bit more about the history of events that led up to your problem today?   What Operating system do you have installed on the system?

When was the last time it was working properly, yesterday?   Did you shut it down, or hibernate or sleep?

If you restart now, can you get into BIOS?  If you go into BIOS, can you see your hard disk recognized?

If you try to restart and press F12, can you get a boot device list?  If so, is your hard disk recognized?

Do you have any disks in the optical drive?

If you check the USB ports, are any of them broken with pins bent touching each other?

Thanks for showing interest mate. I was on work and my laptop(windows 7 professional. Last time it was working properly was on 19th of this month) was shut down for day and when I returned and turned it on it wouldn't start. Yes i can get in to bios and my harddisk is recognised and also i did the diagnosist test. The one that takes about and hour to finish. Hope you know which one i'm talking about. And it didn't show up bad sectors. And no i don't have any disk nor are the pins touching each other

I have a lenovo laptop E49,model no.-3464.

I am having trouble loading the operating system, when i power it on it shows "PXE-E61, PXE-M0F:media test failure; check cable.
All I had changed was in the boot start up settings. Now it does not shows the boot option? Windows 8 single language was installed on it.

Sorry, but I found the solution in spanish, I can do it lookin for Acer Questions and Email:

http://acer-mxrola.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27940/~/acceder-a-la-configuraci%C3%B3n-uefi-(bios)-en-un-sistema-windows-8

This is the method: (please, translate it):

And thats' all. Please comment it.
