Re: PLUGGED IN, NOT CHARGING

I am a linux user, so I know the usual recommendation is to use the power manager or something.  But honestly, I never really did use the windows that came with my computer.  I wiped it the day I got it, and reinstalled it once because I was curious... and realized why I had wiped it in the first place.

Anyway, I experience this problem when I change batteies sometimes.  What I do is turn the machine off and remove the battery.  Plug it in, and then hold the power button.  You will hold it for a minute total.  Twenty seconds plugged in, twenty unplugged, and then twenty plugged back in.  The hloding of the button needs to be continuous, so don't let it up between [un]plugs.  When you let it go, the machine will turn on (it is plugged at this time).  Let it boot, and then reinsert the battery.

Re: PLUGGED IN, NOT CHARGING

Hi,

Just update the BIOS to latest version (2.08) which will fix this issue. You will find two version and links available @ Lenovo support site but you should update 2.08 version regardless to any Operating System.

Please revert back if you still face any issue.
