Sound Problem- No sound

It is now 2 days that I have problem with my sound (in E430). At first I had system sounds but no sound while playing music or films. I followed one of the instructions hear about reinstalling Conexant. But everything gets worth. No I don't have any sounds (Not even system sounds) and there is a (x) on my volume icon in task bar. it gave me the error that (No Audio output is installed) and the troubleshooting process couldn't fix it, neither system restore. Smiley Sad

Anybody has any idea about this issue?

I am really disappointed at my purchase at least I hope I can receive a good technical support here.

Hi Bahar,

What operating system are you using?

How long did you have your system before the sound stopped working?

Are you getting sound from your external outputs?

What program are you using to play your media?

 

It seems like the sound controller is not detecting a connection from your speakers.

If you have not downloaded the newest drivers, here is the link to those (this page refers to all drivers, not just audio drivers):

If you have updated to the latest version of your Conexant drivers, try plugging in a set of headphones into the audio jack and see if the sound works through there.

Try installing a different media player form the one you are currently using.
